A mountain town near the Zayandeh River's source and the trailhead for Mount Zardkuh, a major Zagros summit. It sits along the seasonal migration paths still used by Bakhtiari nomads.

Ardal

A smaller town in a fertile valley known for its orchards and proximity to Bakhtiari nomadic winter and summer grounds. It offers a quieter window into the province's pastoral traditions.
