A historic trading town with a well-preserved old quarter of mudbrick houses and a notable Friday Mosque. It has long been a commercial link between Lorestan and the central plateau.
Dorud
A smaller town on the Zagros railway line, known for its dramatic mountain scenery and nearby Bisheh Waterfall. It is a favoured stop for travellers riding the historic Trans-Iranian Railway.
